{"id":85603,"date":"2022-10-21T15:31:21","date_gmt":"2022-10-21T15:31:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mcunha.eu\/?p=85603"},"modified":"2022-10-21T15:34:47","modified_gmt":"2022-10-21T15:34:47","slug":"a-new-centrality-in-porto-city","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mcunha.eu\/pt_PT\/2022\/10\/21\/a-new-centrality-in-porto-city\/","title":{"rendered":"A New Centrality in Porto City"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>O antigo Matadouro do Porto, que at\u00e9 h\u00e1 bem pouco tempo era um vazio urbano da Cidade Invicta, inoperacional h\u00e1 20 anos, na zona de Campanh\u00e3, vai agora ser transformado num novo centro empresarial, cultural e social da cidade, e est\u00e1 tudo encaminhado para que esta nova centralidade da cidade do Porto, abra portas ao p\u00fablico, dentro de dois anos, precisamente em Outubro de 2024. A ideia central passa por transformar este\u00a0<strong>antigo edif\u00edcio<\/strong> num \u201cequipamento \u00e2ncora\u201d na reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o da zona oriental da cidade no Porto, promovendo a coes\u00e3o social, econ\u00f3mica e a cultural. Contam-se 26.000 metros quadrados (m2) que v\u00e3o ter novos usos dentro de dois anos.\u00a0Em concreto, este\u00a0<strong>novo centro empresarial, cultural e social<\/strong>, contar\u00e1 em 11 edif\u00edcios, com \u00e1reas que v\u00e3o desde 374m2 aos 2.408m2, e que possuem quatro frentes. E o projeto prev\u00ea ainda uma grande cobertura que une o antigo, que ser\u00e1 preservado, e o novo edif\u00edcio de remate, assim como a passagem por cima da VCI. Ser\u00e3o 26.000m2 destinados a zonas empresariais e comerciais, zonas ajardinadas e um anfiteatro ao ar-livre. Quase 8000m2 ficar\u00e3o sob a gest\u00e3o da C\u00e2mara Municipal do Porto, e a autarquia, em comunicado, refere que a ideia passa por reservar um espa\u00e7o ao Museu da Cidade e uma extens\u00e3o da Galeria Municipal, que ter\u00e1 uma programa\u00e7\u00e3o cultural permanente a ser desenvolvida pela C\u00e2mara do Porto, criando sinergias entre diferentes usos (restaura\u00e7\u00e3o\/cultural\/social\/eventos). O projecto da autoria do arquitecto Kengo Kuma em parceria com os arquitectos portugueses da OODA, pretende ser de tal forma sustent\u00e1vel, que possa contar no futuro com a certifica\u00e7\u00e3o LEED. Para tal, vai contar com 2500 m2 de pain\u00e9is solares na cobertura para gerar energia verde e utilizar\u00e1 sistemas t\u00e9rmicos, energ\u00e9ticos e h\u00edbridos eficientes. O projecto prima por promover espa\u00e7os verdes exteriores, que fomentar\u00e3o a intera\u00e7\u00e3o dos usu\u00e1rios do complexo, e ter\u00e1 um efeito positivo que se alastrar\u00e1 \u00e0 zona. A central idea is to transform this old building into an &#8220;anchor equipment&#8221; in the rehabilitation of the eastern part of the city in Porto, promoting it to a social, economic and cultural center. There are 26,000 square meters (m2) that will have new uses within two years. Specifically, this new business, cultural and social center will have 11 buildings, with areas ranging from 374m2 to 2,408m2, and which have four fronts. The project also foresees a large roof that joins the old one, which will be preserved, with the finishing building, and will connect with the passage over the VCI. There will be 26.0000m2, garden and commercial areas and an open-air amphitheater.\u00a0 Almost 8000m2 will stay under the management of the Porto City Council, and autarchy. The idea is to reserve a permanent communication to the City Museum and an extension of the municipal gallery, that will have a cultural program to be developed by the Porto Chamber, creating synergies between different uses (restoration\/cultural\/social\/events). The project by the architect Kengo Kuma in partnership with the Portuguese architects of OODA aims to be sustainable in such a way that it can count on LEED certification in the future. To this end, it will have 2500 m2 of solar panels on the roof to generate green energy and use efficient thermal,\u00a0 and hybrid systems. The project stands out for the complex promoting outdoor green spaces, which will encourage users interaction, and will have a positive effect, that will spread to the area.
