Esta obra, que iniciar\u00e1 em 2023, com previs\u00e3o de 34 meses de execu\u00e7\u00e3o (2025) e 300 milh\u00f5es de euros de investimento do Plano de Recupera\u00e7\u00e3o e Resili\u00eancia, ir\u00e1 beneficiar amplamente o Litoral de Gaia, e reduzir a press\u00e3o do intenso tr\u00e1fego rodovi\u00e1rio, promovendo uma clara melhoria de qualidade de vida. Da Arr\u00e1bida, passar\u00e1 ao Candal – Polo Econ\u00f3mico e de liga\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s Caves, seguindo para a Esta\u00e7\u00e3o da Rotunda, com um parque subterr\u00e2neo para 500 lugares, Esta\u00e7\u00e3o de Devesas e o s\/interface com as linhas urbanas da C.P., Soares do Reis, acabando numa nova Esta\u00e7\u00e3o de Santo Ov\u00eddeo. Porto and Gaia, even more connected, by a new line, which broadens horizons, shortens distances and brings people together. This new metro line – the Ruby line, will have 6.3 km, 8 stations and a NEW BRIDGE over the Douro River, exclusively for pedestrians, bicycles and metro, promoting environmental sustainability. It will start at the Boavista Station, connect to the Polo Universit\u00e1rio de Campo Alegre, and find the surface on the slope of Arr\u00e1bida, in a modern and simple work of Portuguese art and engineering, with the signature of Edgar Cardoso. This work, which will start in 2023, is expected to take 34 months to complete (2025) and 300 million euros of investment in the Recovery and Resilience Plan, will benefit the coast of Gaia, and reduce the pressure of the intense road, promoting a clear improvement in the quality of life.\u00a0 From Arr\u00e1bida, it will pass to Candal – Economic Hub connecting the cellars, heading to Station of Rotunda, with an underground park for 500 places, \u00a0to Station of Devesas and the interface with urban lines from CP – Trains.
